Welcome! This is a website that everyone can build together. It's easy!

Windrider @ Sundance 2009 HomeThis is a featured page

The Windrider Forum is an experiment in immersive education. The Sundance Film Festival provides our primary text --an overwhelming array of world premiere movies. Talented and opinionated filmmakers have forged creative responses to the most diversive and important issues of our era. So how should we respond to their provocative films? Where is God amidst these challenging movies?

Welcome to our website. This is our space. To think. To process. To respond to the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.

While putting this site together with one another may seem confusing at first, we are confident that you will quickly become proficient in maneuvering and creating in this space! The most important thing to remember about this site is that we will build it as a community of learners experiencing the Sundance Film Festival together.

Here are three items of interest as you move forward.

1.) In the upper right hand corner of the main page select Join This Site. Follow the steps for creating your own user name and password so you can join the discussion and help build this site. Start by answering the questions posed in Jurgen Moltmann's article, "Who is a theologian?"

2.) Please join the Facebook group, called Windrider Forum| Cinema in Conversation, and introduce yourself by answering the following three questions on the wall. Where are you from (school/degree program)? What was your favorite movie of 2008? What are some of your favorite independent (Sundance-type) films?
3.) In our class sessions in Park City, we will be screening Angelus Award winning films and filmmakers. These are some of the strongest student films on the planet! You can preview past winners like Deacon's Mondays and The Queen of Cactus Cove on the Windrider Forum website. Add your comments there!
